Partner Highlight: Smart Villages – Powering Agro-Processing in Kasese

We are proud to highlight our partnership with Smart Villages on a 69 kWh energy storage project in Kasese, Western Uganda, installed in June 2026.

The system provides energy to support essential agro-processing activities, including:

• Cold room for produce preservation

• Fruit dehydrator

• Groundnut paste machine, roaster and popper

• Maize huller and miller

• Chilli grinder

As a Ugandan battery manufacturer, we are proud to contribute to productive-use of applications , helping farmers preserve their produce, process it locally, and add greater value before it reaches the market.

This partnership demonstrates how reliable energy storage can support agricultural value chains, reduce post-harvest losses, and create opportunities for farmers to move from selling raw produce to producing higher-value products
